Hillary Clinton: Hallucinating She Can

Yes, Hillary Clinton must have been hallucinating to believe for even one moment she can handle that controversial "opponent."

A coffee machine!

Who can? The rest of America's working stiffs can. they deal with these monsters every day, kicking, screaming, and when all else fails, pulling the plug and putting it back and voila, out comes the cup filled to the brim! Right.

Hillary Clinton, stooped at the waist, confronted the monster - daring it to defy her will. Spit, just spit it out. Cough, cough, cough it out.

It didn't.

And her interview with Bill O'Reilly was a smooze fest. Tough questions, give us a break.

Not according to Fox 'n Friends, though. O'Reilly was tough, with tough questions!

He asked not a thing about Hillary Clinton's wrangling with the coffee maker, and instead focused on Rev. Wright for his first question to her.

While O'Reilly pressed Clinton to respond, she merely echoed exactly what Barack Obama said about Rev. Wright, nothing more, nothing less.

She tried to get to her gas tax holiday and the poor Americans suffering with the high gas prices... but O'Reilly began to monologue about Wright's effect on Obama.

"I feel sorry for the guy, Obama... a nice guy.. his entire campaign has been derailed by this loony guy." O'Reilly hurled on.

Maybe he was trying to elicit a red faced Hillary, Obama... the nice guy... but her makeup was so carefully applied you couldn't see any coloring.

O asked her about gas tax holiday and how would she tax their profits...

She'd get Congress to do it...

Yep, more hallucinating.

On her health plan for every single person in the United States.

We'll let them in on the same plan Congress has... if we don't do it, we'll be in the same place in five years...

One of O'Reilly's next questions began to get to the heart of what another Clinton presidency would look like, (with the exception of Bill Clinton's lowering capital gains taxes and reaping increased revenues), but O'Reilly dropped the ball as he had to move on to another question he believed more important.

He began to press Clinton about her tax proposals which he believed would include raising taxes on the wealthiest citizens to turn around and give the monies to the less wealthy.

He's paying 33 percent fed tax now, you're gonna raise that to what. 39 %

She'll raise it by the same amount as in the '90s... 36-39... only for the people making more than $200,000... as much as you were paying in the '90s.

6 and one-half, states O'Reilly. Ok.

(Note: Libertarian O'Reilly, more hallucinating)

Payroll tax, O asks.

Not made any commitment on the payroll tax, on what she is going to do... not in favor of lifting the cap... not in favor of lifting the cap... not going to impose any burdens on middle class.

O 14 percent I'm assuming...

Clinton: you can't assume that with me.

O'Reilly pressed further, income re-distribution... how much are you going to raise... and he even used the phrasing: socialist, distribution of wealth, taking from the rich and giving to the less wealthy.

Clinton made some comment wrapping herself in with "the rich" - saying we're fortunate, we should "give back."

She continued to explain she wasn't quite decided about raising taxes on the wealthiest, she'd want to create a commission and appoint members to "study."

What did Big O do?

O'Reilly just let the moment slip on by. Just as he had on each of his other questions.

Instead of pressing Clinton about her public comments concerning raising the capital gains tax on the wealthy, or employing other measures to tap the "rich" and give to the "poor," O'Reilly veered to the one question he was dying to ask above all others.

Are you surprised Fox News has treated you more fairly than those other news networks, like NBC... O'Reilly posed.

If you can find a clip of her reaction there, enjoy. Her face just broadened into a huge smile, wider than Texas.

O'Reilly failed to ask - at least in the Wednesday interview - Hillary Clinton even one question about comprehensive immigration reform.

Maybe he's afraid since colleague Geraldo Rivera wrote a book call HisPANIC after a heated exchange between the pair on illegal immigration.

clinton may be starting her book now and it'll be published just after the August Democratic Convention.
