Brrrr, The Coldest February in 30 Years

Yep, had these headlines appeared Friday Feb. 2, 2007 coinciding with the realease of the UN report on global warming instead of Tornado tears through Florida the report would have been laughed at amid sneezing from developing colds.

Below-zero temps hit Plains, Northeast
A bone-chilling Arctic cold wave with temperatures as low as 38 below zero shut down schools for thousands of youngsters Monday, halted some Amtrak service and put car batteries on the disabled list from the northern Plains across the Great Lakes.
