Florida Michigan Democrat Conspiracy

Any way you look at it, whether Florida and Michigan delegates are seated somehow someway for the Democratic National Convention in Denver, or if someway there is a re-vote, the entire saga of both states being "stripped" of all delegates as punishment is a brilliant conspiracy.

Probably the Clintons ace in the hole just in case Hillary didn't win - a plan way back when Obama narrowed her front-runner status back in December 2007 in polling!

when you think about it, Barack Obama came out of nowhere to win many Super Tueday states and beyond one after the other after the other.

But Florida and Michigan had already voted.

So Clinton wasn't all that concerned then immediately after the two states primaries were held that those states were going to be punished.

It was only after some dozen losses in a row that Clinton became concerned about Florida and Michigan.

What most people don't realize, the Republican Party also punished those states Party leaders for agreeing to move up the dates of the primaries by assigning only half the delegates to the 'winner takes all.'

Clinton also had a few people favorable to her on the original committee which drew up the rules over one year ago.

Why didn't she complain then if she believed voters would be disenfranchised if delegates couldn't be seated down the road as punishment?

The entire saga is exactly like the Presidential Election of 2000.

4 years earlier, punch card style machines (in one county, the same exact machines were used in 1996 and 2000) were used in Florida and guess what there were over-votes and undervotes. Nobody kicked up a fuss because guess what Bill Clinton won the state. Nobody complained that everyone's vote didn't count or wasn't counted. Nobody ever tried to determine whether the punchcards were faulty, or there were errors by voters or machine.

Complaints only arose after Gore was losing the state, narrowly, but losing the state.

Years back we posted our observations about Florida 2000. Start here and follow the links

Look at what Clinton promised New Hampshire and Iowa

Hillary's word: It's worth nothing

Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008

COURTING VOTERS in Iowa and New Hampshire, last August Sen. Hillary Clinton signed a pledge not to "campaign or participate" in the Michigan or Florida Democratic primaries. She participated in both primaries and is campaigning in Florida. Which proves, again, that Hillary Clinton is a liar.

Clinton kept her name on the Michigan ballot when others removed theirs, she campaigned this past weekend in Florida, and she is pushing to seat Michigan and Florida delegates at the Democratic National Convention. The party stripped those states of delegates as punishment for moving up their primary dates.

"I will try to persuade my delegates to seat the delegates from Michigan and Florida," Clinton said last week, after the New Hampshire primaries and Iowa caucuses were safely over.

Clinton coldly and knowingly lied to New Hampshire and Iowa. Her promise was not a vague statement. It was a signed pledge with a clear and unequivocal meaning.

She signed it thinking that keeping the other candidates out of Michigan and Florida was to her advantage, but knowing she would break it if that proved beneficial later on. It did, and she did.
