Isn't this very telling. The champion of kick the bums out using the same tactics as many incumbents to get a name of an opponent removed from the Primary ballot.

Not that irregularities should not be challenged and the allegations brought forward to a court to determine findings of fact.

The nomination petitions should be challenged. Many times, more rather than less, the challenges are motivated by desires to run unopposed in Primaries.

Even with that motive, irregularities should be investigated.

We've long proposed an independent board of elections for counties. Those boards should not be made up of the elected county commissioners as currently provided for in election law in PA. (with the exception of incumbent members seeking re-election)

The Election Board should consist of judges and lawyers by appointments, or the board should be an elected position from qualified electors.

We'll lay off following the story of Diamond's campaign as publicized in the state-wide media that didn't ask any questions about his position on a PA Constitutional Convention before he made a run for Governor, and few when he announced that independent effort.

we'll have to see what Gingrich's position is on a PA Con-Con, then we'll pursue the issue for discussion.
