When voters head out to vote next week, they'll likely see poll workers and maybe some party representatives as always. If they run into problems, they can start looking for the men and women in black.
More than 30 people, mostly lawyers and law students, are planning to visit polling sites around the region to provide voters a non-partisan resource about election law and their rights. They'll wear black T-shirts to show they belong to the national coalition called Election Protection.
