10 Days Out Not Sure Likely Voters Poll at 10%

10.1 percent. Polling was conducted between Oct. 21 and Oct. 25.

Isn't it odd, though, ten days out and there's a report that 10 percent of likely voters are undecided, not sure?

Who are the pollsters characterizing as unsure? Third-Party and/or independents?

why are so many likely voters among us unsure? We think we know. And unfortunately it's not the Purple People Eater or Red Baiting.

Look closely at the specifics. Pollsters lumped together Black/Hispanics and show a percentage split between McCain and Obama as

Race White Obama 39% McCain 51% Unsure 10%

Black/Hispanic Obama 81% McCain 8% Unsure 11%

Further down in the poll

White men Obama 34% McCain 57% Unsure 9%

White women Obama 43% McCain 46% Unsure 10%

Black Obama 91% McCain - (so low as to be unmeasurable) Unsure 9%

Hispanic Obama 55% McCain 29% Unsure 16%

Q: If the 2008 election for United States President were held today and the following were candidates for whom would you vote? Would you say Democrat Barack Obama, Republican John McCain? (Candidates rotated)
