Oswald & Jack Ruby Meeting Couldn't Have Taken Place

Fox News Network discussing the release of a transcript showing...
a conversation between Jack Ruby and Lee Harvey Oswald?

Guest says the guy made it all up he was given a polygraph test and failed except for he admitted he's a drunk and a lawyer(not in that order)

didn't catch the name of the guest before the interview was over.

We can only question, why now? Seriously, we have an important presidential election going on and somebody over there in another country has already said African American presidential candidate will be assassinated if he's elected. Why aren't we focusing on the issues and the differences therein between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton?

All the news networks are non-stop covering this non-issue.

As the guest on Fox said, the meeting could not have taken place between Oswald and Jack Ruby cause Oswald wasn't in the area.

Of course, how does anybody know where Oswald was on that date (Oct. 4) is anybody's guess. Maybe a double was used so Oswald could appear to be out of the country, and his double was meeting with Jack Ruby.

Question arises: how was such a detailed transcript obtained anyway? Was somebody, uhm bugged? If bugged, who bugged? If it's a transcript based on a "witness" report of a conversation, first off, witness testimony is more often than not totally unreliable.

On the other hand, maybe there's motivation to keep the American public fueled up about JFK every so often. No matter what the revelations, why were these materials kept secret for 20 years? Researchers could have been delving into the reputed conversation for that time and maybe even had access to original hand-written witness statements.

'JFK assassination plot' papers found in Dallas safe

...Today, Gary Mack, the curator of the Sixth Floor Museum, which chronicles Kennedy's life, said he doubted the transcript was genuine.

He added it was well documented Oswald was in Irving, Texas, on the evening of October 4, and therefore could not have been in Ruby's nightclub.

"The fact that it's sitting in Henry Wade's file, and he didn't do anything, indicates he thought it wasn't worth anything," Mack said. "He probably kept it because it was funny. It's hilarious. It's like a bad B movie."

Terri Moore, an assistant to Watkins, today said she believed the transcript was part of a movie Wade was working on with producers.

The former prosecutor had discussed making the film, Countdown in Dallas, in letters found in the safe. "It's not real. Crooks don't talk like that," Moore said.

Watkins said the items were still being processed and would eventually be made available to the public...

Exclusive: Cache of records found by DA's office includes highly suspect Oswald-Ruby transcript

And conspiracy theorists will rejoice over one find: a highly suspect transcript of a conversation between Ruby and Oswald plotting to kill the president because the mafia wanted to "get rid of" his brother, Attorney General Robert Kennedy.

"It will open up the debate again about whether there was a conspiracy," said Mr. Watkins, who at 40 was born four Novembers after Kennedy was killed in 1963.

But the curator of the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza said the conversation could not have happened.

Terri Moore, Mr. Watkins' top assistant, said she believes the transcript is part of a movie that Mr. Wade was working on with producers.

"It's not real. Crooks don't talk like that," she said.

"If that transcript is true, then history is changed because Oswald and Ruby were talking about assassinating the president."

Mr. Wade wrote about the movie, Countdown in Dallas, in letters found in the safe. Mr. Wade prosecuted Ruby in Oswald's death, although the verdict was overturned and Ruby died of cancer in 1967 before his second trial could begin.

Purported JFK plot by Oswald and Ruby is ‘like a bad B movie’
The Associated Press
DALLAS | A curious transcript purportedly about President John F. Kennedy’s assassination has been discovered among boxes of memorabilia in an old safe at the Dallas County district attorney’s office.

While the transcript reads like a conspiracy theorist’s dream — Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby plotting to kill Kennedy — the district attorney’s top assistant said it’s likely material for a proposed movie...

...
Much of the attention is bound to focus on the transcript purporting that Ruby and Oswald met at Ruby’s nightclub on Oct. 4, 1963, less than two months before the Nov. 22 assassination. In it, they talked of killing the president.

Lost JFK Assassination Documents Believed Found in Dallas Courthouse

A suspect transcript of a conversation between John F. Kennedy assassin Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby, the man who killed Oswald, are among the treasure trove of items found in an old safe at the Dallas County District Attorney's Office.

Dallas County District Attorney Craig Watkins presented the items at a news conference Monday. Watkins says they were locked in a safe for nearly two decades and that investigators had made him aware of them after he took office in 2006.

Much of the attention focuses on the transcript purporting that Ruby and Oswald met at Ruby's nightclub on Oct. 4, 1963, less than two months before the Nov. 22 assassination. In it, they talked of killing the president because the Mafia wanted to "get rid of" his brother, Attorney General Robert Kennedy.

The items also include Ruby's brown leather gun holster, two brass knuckles found on Ruby when he was arrested and a movie contract former Dallas District Attorney Henry Wade signed.
