Glenn Beck China Special Decades Old News

Glenn Beck's China Special today (with footnotes here) was the oddest show of the beginning of this decade, because it's about 2 decades behind.

Glenn, you've got to catch up on the history, soon.

You have to get Jim Rogers who moved his family to Singapore, Asia to tell you we need to better educate our students... and your other guest, need him to tell you manufacturing in the United States is gone? Never coming back.

But um be aware, Glenn, these two are certainly, most certainly, part of the believers in the same ideas that have screwed up our public educational system for some many years now, but including the move to so-called School to Work and Goals 2000 and No Child Left Behind.

Do your research of that history and see "how that's working" for us.

And while you're at it, research all the particulars of China's acceptance into the free trade game known as the World Trade Organization.

Yep, same argument as when the United States joined with Mexico and Canada in NAFTA those countries were supposed to free up limitations/costs of our sending our products into their countries. How's that working for us, Glenn?

China-US Agreement on China's WTO Accession

China joined the World Trade Organisation (WTO) at the end of 2001.

The agreement signed with the United States preceding China's accession remains a good general guide to the obligations China entered into with its WTO partners
