Harsh Winter = Manmade Global Warming = Fiddle the Facts says Expert

Piers Corbyn appearing on Fox 'n Friends Monday morning slashed the concept believed by global warming enthusiasts that weather extremes (such as really really really cold weather in winter) are part of manmade global warming.

And the supportive "documentation" of the theory by scientists, that isn't science.

Corbyn called the documentation of the theory, "fiction."

More links and info from a google search well worth reading

We've covered both sides of the issue of global warming for several years now. See our links in our sidebar at the very bottom of our main page or use the search feature on the site to conduct a review of all we have managed to find on the issue.

Most notable finds are posted in the sidebar, too numerous to list here.

Of particular interest are two one-time notable skeptics, Reason Magazine's Ronald Bailey and as unfortunately Glenn Beck.

What's up with them?

We can't even begin to speculate why positions have changed over a mere few years, but they have...

Beck Still Claiming Global Currency New World Order Not A Conspiracy

We're nearly speechless. A while back, Glenn Beck had Damon Vickers explaining to him how when things go downhill, albeit slowly, there will come a time when the international solution to the global financial 'crisis' will be: a global currency and a new world order ...

the pair even laughed as Beck brought up a question about conspiracy... uh No explained Vickers. Beck laughed all the way through...

Now Beck's 11/05/2010 program he's tagged the 15-Day Decline in the Dollar experts include Damon Vickers and ... Brad Thor...

The trio are laughing as Beck mentions again his question about a conspiracy, and his denial he believes there is any conspiracy.

Oh no, of course not the two guest experts plugging their books respond in unison.

Beck notes again, for his oh so walking-dead live audience, no conspiracy, "I believe these people..." - don't rise up in a united gasp audience... don't object when Beck states his belief:

"these people believe they're doing the RIGHT THING."

Sure Beck. Because you cannot 'connect the dots' to a specific political side you do not favor, say Marxist supporters you find among the policy-makers in the Obama Administration, because all in Congress (with the exception of Ron Paul), and a specific current President of the United States and all former Presidents have supported this madness, it is best not to admit there's been a conspiracy and every single federal office-holder who's supported the Federal Reserve system has been a part of it.

Beck's guest Brad Thor has a novel to plug The Athena Project. According to Beck's plug of the author, Thor was a former Think Tanker. Right audience, just clap.

Now how can Brad Thor sit there and talk about anarchists and revolutionaries as the haha bad guys... but no, the (known) manipulators of the U.S. financial system they are not the bad guys.

There's nobody behind the curtain, according to Beck, no real conspiracy HAHAHA to bring us into a New World Order, uhuh, look all around that curtain, Beck audience, don't open it all the way, even though you see a pair of shoes, and is that laughter you hear, it's nobody.

Thank you to Logistics Monster. Here is the complete Nov. 5, 2010 video of Glenn Beck's program the 15-Day Decline in the Dollar...

review Beck accepting Damon Vickers offering again... what we need and what is coming to fix the global financial crisis is New World Order...

but listen carefully to Beck, it's ok as long as it doesn't come from the "government..."

There goes Damon Vickers again... let's try a new twist... this will be a 'community' thing... all we have is "faith, courage, love," and oh yes, Beck emphatically agrees with t-h-a-t... what is coming is profound either profound darkness or profound wonder-ful-ness, exclaims Beck...

And the audience just claps and claps and claps.

Right, as long as the currency for the world has the words In God We Trust (maybe it will even in some way partially be backed by gold), believers, there is no darkness.

It's all profound wonder-ful-ness.

Vickers Many Conspiracies Might be true not global currency?

A CNBC guest Damon Vickers was later invited onto the Glenn Beck Program to review his particular statement:

“If the global currency crisis unfolds, then inevitably you get an alignment of a global world government. A new global currency and a new world order, so we may be moving towards that,”

Beck used the clip as an introduction to his guest, Damon Vickers, wondering why Vickers wasn't asked about the statement then and there.

Beck says he was dumbfounded the CNBC host didn't ask anything about New World Order... currency crisis, etc...

http://video.aol.co.uk/video-detail/glenn-beck-w-damon-vickers-new-world-order/410315580

Beck says he thought he'd invite David Vickers on his own program.

Vickers noted the trends were disturbing...

What was astonishing, later during the Beck interview, Vickers made a statement at once denying conpiracy theories about his comment - a global currency and world government and a new world order - etc - he noted he was a guest on the Alex Jones program where a couple of conspiracy theories were offered, said many of the theories might be true, but in this case... the market forces are likely to cause a realignment of currencies! Possibly world government is inevitable, too?

comments about Jones/Vickers

http://forum.prisonplanet.com/index.php?topic=144760.0

By the way, listen and watch the Jones interview... see how Vickers comments people are afraid of change...

However, our focus remains on the comments Vickers made on Beck's program. He said he'd been a guest on Alex Jones program yesterday (Nov. 16) and he heard a couple of the conspiracy theories by Jones. He told Beck many of these conspiracy theories might be actually true.

Our response, why didn't Beck stop Vickers then and there and demand to know which Jones' conspiracies he thought might be actually true then? Which are not? And Beck could have asked how can Vickers ever know for sure that true unfettered market forces and not manipulation of market forces cause the realignment of currencies, global currency, global government, and new world order he envisions?

Glenn Beck: what we are doing right now is we are spending ourselves into oblivion

:39

Beck: are you familiar with the Cloward Piven strategy

Vickers: no it sounds great

:47

Beck: no it doesn't you gotta look this up. cause you would understand this. Look up Cloward Piven strategy... a radical marxist idea that came out of Columbia University... telling you it's being employed right now... the idea is you want to change the culture in America you want to change the government... you want to overthrow the Constitution... you don't do it with guns... you don't do anything like that... if you want a redistribution of wealth what you do is you collapse the system...and then it has to restart...that's what's happening...overwhelmingly...

Vickers: I know there are a lot of conspiracy theories out there, I had the benefit of doing the Alex Jones show last night... and I heard a couple of them and I'm not disputing that many of them might be actually true...but market forces are likely to take...

Beck interrupts: you don't need a conspiracy theory

Vickers: But the market forces are likely to take us there anyway... the dollar is way too high, and other currencies are way too low... what you are likely to see is a realignment of currencies...our debts are too huge... no possibile way that our labor forces can compete globally on production services... when we come up with a great idea... maybe we would elect to make it here... but now they are immediately making them in...Mexico and Bangladesh...

Glenn Beck Transcript includes segment wherein Beck says "you don't need a conspiracy theory."

http://www.glennbeck.com/content/articles/article/198/33297/

Say what, Beck? You don't need a conspiracy? Say that again and again, and maybe people will believe you don't need a conspiracy to accomplish a collapse of the (financial) system and to overthrow the Constitution?

What you've described in just a few sentences... if you want to change the culture, if you want to change government...if you want to overthrow the Constitution...

you don't need guns, Beck said.

No you only need some way to "redistribute the wealth by collapsing the system and then it has to restart!"

Not a conspiracy?

Oh it will just happen because it well just will?

What makes Beck look unfortunately like a question-mark himself at this point?

He mentions the Marxist idea that came out of Columbia, tagged the Cloward-Piven strategy, and informss his guest Damon Vickers, this is happening, look it up - this is happening - then he offers a way to obtain the redistribution of wealth (envisioned in the radical Marxist theory that came out of Columbia University?) is by collapsing the system but then Beck denies any evidence of a conspiracy (theory) to accomplish this feat?

Just read one book by Grenville Clark World Peace Through World Law

World Law. World Government. New World Order. Not a conspiracy, right.

Beck lost us a few times before this, but this exchange is the height of his continued irresponsibility.

It's like Beck doesn't want to go too far - evidence of a conspiracy - one that would collapse the system in order to 'redistribute the wealth' - by such as manipulation of the stock market, manipulation by the Federal Reserve of the banking system, and so on - but he wants to put the idea in our minds - the fear - of the potential for a collapse of the system with the goal to redistribute the wealth.

As to his exchange with Vickers, Beck didn't even get out of him why market forces would likely result in a realignment of currencies... and world government no less.

In other words, Beck failed to poke and prod Vickers on the original statement Vickers made and by the end of the interview session we are no more informed about Vickers' statement than before he appeared on Beck's program.

This is more than disappointing given Beck's monologue and interjection wherein he allows "you don't need a conspiracy theory."

Vickers doesn't explain at any point other than to note what has been happening - companies are making more products and taking their production enterprises to lower wage countries... like Mexico and Bangladesh - that's where the companies go now - first... he said, something that hadn't happened before?

Say what? Hasn't happened before? Such has been happening in recent history after the North American Free Trade Agreement was signed, sealed and delivered by the U.S. under Bill Clinton.

Wonder what is Vickers' opinion of NAFTA and CAFTA, etc.?

We'd bet he doesn't see any conspiratorial linkage there, right.

Meanwhile, don't miss the dailypaul.com discussion about Beck's reaction to Vickers.

Here's where we wonder what interview did this person watch?

Beck tries to portray economic collapse as engineered in order to bring about world government (a la Alex Jones), while the person he interviews, Damon Vickers, downplays the conspiracy theory version of things.

http://www.dailypaul.com/node/115087

Actually, it was Beck who agreed with Vickers: "you don't need a conspiracy theory."

so in fact, Beck did not try to portray the economic collapse as one that's engineered a la a conspiracy to bring about a new world order.

On the other hand, a review of Alex Jones interview with Vickers shows Jones is not remiss in outlining exactly what the conspiracy is and has been to create a problem or a crisis, turn an about face, and present a solution. Invariably, the solution gives more power to some, curtails rights of the masses, and eradicates freedom.

At this point, we can't disagree with the sentiments expressed about Glenn Beck - he's inconsistent and watch out. We also highlighted Beck's acquiescence on the issue of encouraging a second federal Constitutional Convention a while back.

Glenn Beck: Exposed the Climate of Fear

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/gb.html

Hilarious there has not been any more warming of the planet for ten years (a little under, nine years) says the Skeptical Environmentalist author on Beck's program...

but after reading and re-reading do not miss the fact that it isn't President of the United States Al Gore is sweating for, it's President of a New World Order. Don't believe? Just read the original United Nations Charter and material put out by the World Federalists. It's been going on 15 years since I've learned about the plan for a new Constitution of the World. A smattering of my research ongoing, at Truth Online, includes bibliography.

clip and re-read again and again in the early dawn

CNN GLENN BECK
Aired April 5, 2007 - 19:00:00 ET

BECK: At this year`s Academy Awards, Al Gore got nothing by love, riotous applause for his efforts on behalf of Planet Earth. Well, unfortunately for Al, those days seem to be over. The real story is, Al Gore is still getting a vocal reaction during his appearances to warn all of us about the apocalyptic effects on, you know, the warming of the globe, but nowadays the cheers have been replaced with boos, and not just from the right, but from the left, as well.

As I give you this story, I`m going to try really hard not to gloat, but I`m not making any promises. Concordia University, it`s in Montreal, Canada -- remember, Canada, a university. They just gave Al Gore an honorary doctorate. And during his address, he was stopped twice by angry cries of dissension and disbelief from the crowd. Sacrebleu, in Canada, really?

Gore responded by saying, "I don`t know if you guys are from the left or the right wing." You know why that is, Al? Because both sides now know you`re full of bull crap!

Those on the left who do agree with the perceived immediate dangers of global warming think you`re a hypocrite. Not only does your palatial mansion use more electricity in a month than the average American home does in a year, but the meat-eater that he is also contributes to cattle emissions, which are infinitely worse than driving a fully loaded Hummer.

Now, that`s not my opinion. That`s the opinion of those crazy conservatives at the U.N.

Now, those on the right have long believed that, you know, something is going on with the Earth`s climate, but it`s impossible to deny that so much of Al Gore`s science is unsubstantiated and his doomsday language is just out of control and counterproductive.

Even the "New York Times" has said that Al Gore is writing checks that his research couldn`t cash. Usually the only thing you find out about Al Gore in the "New York Times," love letters.

Al, the world is onto you. Your self-promotional, politically motivated science fiction -- I say, forget, you know, the diet, grow the beard back, invite your old friends, Ben and Jerry, over for a little reunion. The jig seems to be up!

Chris Horner, he is the author of the "Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming and Environmentalism." Chris, aren`t you absolutely shocked that the mainstream media didn`t pick up a story about protesters at Al Gore`s speech from the left?

CHRIS HORNER, AUTHOR: Well, wait a second. It took the "New York Times" about 15 months to pick up on the fact that his movie was pure science fiction before they found some scientists who were willing to say this, so I expect in another year or so they`ll figure out that maybe it`s worth reporting, because we`ll figure out -- in about a year, it will be almost 10 years since we`ve experienced any warming, Glenn. You have to remember that it hasn`t warmed since 1998.

Maybe on that anniversary that they will notice that, in fact, some college students jeered him. And the reason that`s odd is -- you`re noting he does tend to now speak only before reliably left-wing audiences, sure, but typically elites.

College students may come from the elite strain, but they aren`t yet there. They haven`t figured out that his agenda is really about other people. They realize they`d like to create wealth, and he`s going to make it quite difficult for them.

BECK: Let me go -- because you said it`s been 10 years, almost 10 years, been nine now since we`ve experienced any warming in the globe. Let me show you that we seem to have collective Alzheimer`s. From the "Washington Post," greenhouse doomsday, the year is 2035. Phoenix is in its third week of temperatures over 130 degrees. Holland is under water. Bangladesh has ceased to exist. This is not science fiction. It`s based on current projections.

At what point do the projections start to catch up on them?

HORNER: Well, when they assign years to them. I believe that article assigned 2035, so back then it was a long time in the future. Right now, remember, Al Gore has been saying for nigh on five years that we`ve got 10 years to live, so pretty soon, you know, those chickens are going to come home to roost.

BECK: I don`t know if you saw this, but in "USA Today," I think it was yesterday, the lead story in the "Life" section was scientists say it`s too late, it`s too late to turn this around.

HORNER: Right.

BECK: I thought, "Well, I should go buy the Hummer then."

HORNER: That`s when the schism starts in the movement, because at that point, the funding drives up. What`s the point? Remember, Glenn, we spent $5 billion with a "b" researching this that`s purportedly settled and now it`s too late. Why don`t we spend the money productively to help with adaptation, which is how successful societies have always dealt with something that they always face, climate change.

BECK: Chris, thank you. I want to leave you with one quick quote here. It is from "Discover" magazine. "We have to offer up some scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements and little mention of any doubts one might have," "Discover" magazine, 1989. Seems like the playbook...

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0704/05/gb.01.html

And there's more re-read late night to keep you laughing

That`s "The Real Story" tonight. And in the spirit of equal time, I want to give Al Gore a chance to respond, and I mean this sincerely. Here it is.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

AL GORE IMPERSONATOR: I want to talk to you today about global warming. We all know the dangers it presents, so I`m not going to try and scare you. I`m just going to present you with the facts.

Here`s fact number one. If you don`t act soon, the Earth will suffer many, many explosions! Deaths! It`s going to be Hell on Earth. Your skin is going to bubble. You`re going to burn alive, and you`re going to be dead, dead! So dead you won`t even believe how dead you are!

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: This message brought to you by the Committee to Keep Al Gore`s Ongoing 2012 Presidential Campaign Secret.

Beware of Newt Gingrich watch closely what he says... April 10 debate...

Don't have to warn of Kerry, he can't tell the difference between a joke and a slur...

Kerry, Gingrich announce climate showdown
By Jeremy Jacobs
April 05, 2007
Former House Speaker and possible presidential candidate Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) and 2004 Democratic nominee Sen. John Kerry (Mass.) are set to square off on climate change next week, their staffs announced Thursday.
The debate, hosted by New York University’s John Brademas Center for the Study of Congress, will take place next Tuesday, April 10, at 10 a.m. in the Russell Senate Office Building.

Kerry, who bowed out of the 2008 presidential race earlier this year, has been dubbed an “environmental champion” by the non-partisan League of Conservation Voters. His website touts a long record of fighting for the environment. He and his wife Teresa Heinz Kerry also recently wrote This Moment on Earth, which addresses climate change and preserving the environment.

"Newt’s a guy who has spent a lot of time wrestling with climate change and the environment. He reads about it, he teaches about it, he writes about it,” Kerry said Thursday. “We don’t see eye to eye about everything, obviously, but that’s what makes for a good debate.

“As a father, when someone tells me that within the next decade, if we don't deal with global warming, our children and grandchildren may deal with global catastrophe, that tells me I damn well better do whatever I can to help make Washington deal with this responsibly,” Kerry added. “We need these good old-fashioned debates and forums and discussions to get everyone thinking creatively on both sides of the aisle.”

Gingrich, the architect of the “Contract with America” that led to the Republican takeover of the House in 1994, recently teamed up with conservationist Terry Maple to author A Contract with the Earth. Like his Contract with America, A Contract with the Earth, due out Nov. 1, 2007, is based on a 10-point “contract” calling for a bipartisan approach to solving climate issues.
